The R&D department ATHENA has designed and manufactured a new racing component for all mopeds equipped with the MINARELLI AM 3-4-5-6 engine.

After careful observation of the problems that occur daily both in workshops and during competitions, ATHENA has studied a rapid system to help and simplify the control or replacement of the clutch.

Thanks to the new racing ATHENA is possible:

● inspect or change the clutch without removing the engine oil, cooling system water and related connection pipes;

● Increase engine performance:

- completely eliminating the mechanical mixing system and the related power losses due to it.

- reducing the internal volume of the crankcase and the amount of oil compared to the OEM, minimizing banging and related frictions, due to the increase in operating temperature resulting in loss of power and increased friction wear.

The ATHENA racing carter is adaptable to all MINARELLI AM 3-4-5-6 engines without any modification and difficulty in mounting and can be used both for the pedal-starting version and for the electric start version
