On the 250 SX-F models, the primary objective for power delivery was to optimize power and torque in the higher rpm range. The increase in power in the upper rpm range has led to a different trend in power and torque over the lower rpm range. This means a slightly delayed, but on the other hand more spontaneous, delivery of full engine power from a speed of ca. 6000 rpm.
